Michael Boyer founded Boyer Financial Planning, Inc. in 1998 and has over 30 years of experience in the financial planning industry. He is a high-honors graduate of Westmoreland County Community College. Mike is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Mike is the Past President and current member of the Estate Planning Council of Cambria/Somerset Counties. He is a member of a Platinum Executive Study Group and the Pittsburgh Stock & Bond Association. He is/has been involved in the Somerset Kiwanis Club, Junior Achievement, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America, and Somerset Development League.

Mike was named Best Financial Advisor of Somerset County, as part of the local newspaper's Official Reader’s Choice Awards for 2019 as well as Best of Somerset County Financial Planning Services for 2022. He was also named to the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Mike is very involved in his community, as he is often a guest speaker at local high schools and colleges on financial literacy. Mike is a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Mike enjoys travel, football, yachting, and wine tasting. Mike loves to spend time with his daughter Amber, her husband Matt, and grandson Caleb. Mike has his best furry friend Ally, who is his office’s four-legged greeter.
